Our Founding Team

Mark Richman is the lead software developer for Bitter End Systems and owner of Skeleton Key Consulting ‣

Bitter End Systems was founded in 2001 and is based in St. Louis, Missouri. Its three founders brought together diverse backgrounds in comic retailing, software design, law, accounting, and big box retail.  Using their backgrounds, they jointly pursue the goal of offering the best software yet designed for specialty store retailers.


For almost 10 years, Bitter End Systems has refined and marketed a point of sale solution for specialty store retailers that was designed from the ground up by retailers, for retailers.

Benjamin Trujillo leads the sales and technical support teams and is a co-owner of Star Clipper ‣
