“Subscription management is excellent; I love the ability to modify a customer’s subscriptions from within a transaction. Reorders are a breeze once reorder points are established where you want them.”
MOBY POS isn’t always perfect, though. “There is a bug that affects my interaction with Games Workshop’s Direct division that I would like to see fixed soon.” (Editor’s note: we’re on it!)

“Every time I’ve had an issue, customer service has been very quick…usually well before 24 hours (at bare minimum letting me know they are aware of my problem). I cannot think of an instance this hasn’t happened. I have no question that features/problems would never be addressed as quickly with ComicSuite (or any other Comic specialty software).”
Dewayne’s World - Comics and Games is a Kingsport, TN comic retailer that has been operated by Dewayne Chase for over 17 years. In those 17 years, Dewayne has run the shop on his own and come to know his customers very well but wanted a more automated process for keeping track of his customer’s subscriptions.
“I used ComTrac DOS for 6-7 years and just outgrew it.” Dewayne looked into other options, including Diamond’s Comic Suite but the waiting lists were just too long. “I’d heard excellent things about MOBY POS and decided to give it a try. After checking out the demo, I was sold on it.” Dewayne’s World started using MOBY POS in March of 2009.
“MOBY POS has allowed me to get a better grip on subscriptions and has made FOC (Final Order Cutoff) especially easy.” Since adopting MOBY POS, Dewayne’s World has seen several upgrades. “I love being able to go to an individual item and see exactly who has copies in their pull box.”
