MOBY POS has led to many positive changes at Main Street Comics.  “We are able to serve our customers better. Special orders are much easier to track and fill. Customer subscriptions are easier to manage. Stock levels are more even.  Inventory management has improved greatly. There's less waste from over-ordering, and fewer lost sales from lack of product.  This has led to increased profitability and better cash flow.”

Main Street Comics has been operating since December, 2001 in Middletown, New York.  Owner Pete Dolan decided to begin using POS in August, 2007 because “we needed to get better control over our inventory...more often than not we were reordering product only when we were sold out of it, and then over-ordering to insure that we wouldn’t sell out again any time soon.”

MOBY POS wasn’t Pete’s first choice.  “A couple of years before choosing MOBY POS, we attempted to install another POS (unsuccessfully). We found the experience to be so frustrating, it discouraged us from implementing POS for a while.”
